My name is Rita B. Domingues and I am a postdoctoral fellow in Portugal.
I have a Ph.D. in marine sciences and I like to call myself an experimental plankton ecologist, studying the use of phytoplankton as an ecological indicator and the effects of natural and human-induced environmental variability on phytoplankton in coastal ecosystems.
My research interests include the effects of global climate change on phytoplankton, bottom-up and top-down regulation of phytoplankton, and eutrophication.
I'm also a mother & partner, an ashtangi (google it!), yoga teacher, and, call me crazy, an undergraduate student of psychology...
